This will increase the building size from 5,000 to 7,500 square feet and is intended to assist with work, education, and health services in the area. The building and remodeling site is located at 501 Levee Street in St. Joseph, Louisiana. Site visits are encouraged during the bidding process, and optional pre-bid conferences are available for interested bidders during the 25-day bid period. Bids must be accompanied by bid security amounting to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in a form stated in the instructions to bidders. Only contractors licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the specified classification may bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt except as provided by LA R.S. 38:2214.
