Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Alexandria, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The proposed work is being completed in anticipation of the reconstruction of the existing concrete weir. In order to reconstruct the existing concrete weir, the lake will need to be lowered to elevation 674. This allows for the lake to provide storm water storage during the construction of the weir. Work on the weir is slated to begin construction in Spring, 2026. Once construction of the concrete weir is completed, the County will replace the existing concrete riser starting at elevation 674. Question Deadline 11/05/2025- The Contractor shall notify the Engineer promptly of any discrepancies in, or omissions from the Contract Documents. The Engineer will issue a clarifying addendum to each person on record as having received a set of Contract Documents. The Owner will not be responsible for oral instruction or information. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to proposal date cannot be answered.
