Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Libertyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 26,300-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the construction of a 49,500-square-foot fire / police facility.
The Village of Libertyville announces that material is now being accepted to pre-qualify bidders for the construction of a new police station. Complete general contracting services only are sought. Subcontractors or suppliers interested in providing services for material or materials for portions of the work will not be considered at this time. The project will include demolition of the existing police station (approx. 26,300 sf) and construction of a new station (49,500 sq. ft.). The police station will be vacant during construction and project construction value is $30-35 million.
