Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Park, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Contractor shall construct components necessary to upgrade the existing Irrigation Pump Station as shown in the Drawings and as specified, including demolition of existing pump station skid (including mounted pumps and piping) and above ground piping, installation of new pre-fabricated pump station (enclosure with pumps, piping, valves and electrical components), installation of new station piping (above ground and buried) with connection to existing irrigation header piping, modifications to existing concrete wet well and slab to support new enclosure, replacement of existing channel slide gates, installation of bypass pipe assemblies on new header piping, and installation of generator and automatic transfer switch for backup power. Work also includes electrical and local controls at new equipment; related site and miscellaneous work, such as: coatings, soil erosion and sediment control, etc.; mobilization/demobilization, bonds, insurance, and all appurtenances necessary for completion of the work as shown on the Drawings and as specified in the Contract Documents. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one Contract. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a Utility Contractor and employ a Utility Manager certification holder. Bids shall include a bid bond or certified cashier's check of at least 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price are required of the successful bidder. Bidders must submit an Affidavit of Compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 with the Bid. This project is funded in part or whole by American Rescue Plan Act Funds and bidders must comply with affirmative action, equal opportunity, federal, and state public works construction requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for nonconformance or other relevant reasons.
