The opportunity to pursue a new facility for the Kelce College of Business as part Gorilla Rising's downtown living-learning community will leave PSU with little use for much of the existing 62,688 GSF facility known as Kelce Hall. Kelce Hall was built as a high school in 1950 and has served the Kelce College of Business and PSU's Information and Technology Services since a 1970's remodel. Once the College of Business relocates, a selective demolition eliminates approximately 45,000 GSF from a facility with a condition letter grade of F and will leave only the self-contained former gymnasium now housing PSU's Information and Technology Service. The project is included in the state's 2027 - 2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 24, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
