Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Northlake, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for Phase 2 School Renovation at Westdale School, 99 W. Diversey Ave., Northlake, IL 60164. Separate sealed bids are to be submitted for each of the following bid packages: Demolition (2C), General Trades (6A), Flooring (9A), and Painting (9C). Bids must be delivered in triplicate using the supplied bid form, in a sealed opaque envelope addressed with the project name, bidder's name and address, and the relevant bid package. Each bid must include the bid form, bid bond, and a signed non-collusion statement. Bidders must demonstrate experience with renovation work in Illinois schools in a confidential AIA 305 Statement of Qualifications. Qualified bids must include a bid security of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, either as a bid bond or certified check. The school district reserves the right to disqualify bids from contractors lacking experience equal to the size and scope of the project, and may accept or reject any or all bids. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening date.
