As of January 16, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded until around March, it will take a few months. The work consists, in general, of reconstructing approximately 260 feet of roadway along Dana Circle between Bernard Drive and the northern circle in Kettleman City, California to connect to the SR 41 and Hubert Way intersection. Bids are required for the entire work described. The contractor must possess either a Class A license or a combination of Class C licenses to perform the work at the time the contract is awarded. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bond or certified/cashier's check equal to ten percent of the bid amount. The project is subject to "Buy America" provisions, state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements, and all bids must include all applicable sales taxes and fees. Bidders are responsible for obtaining plans and checking for addendums. A subcontractor’s list, detailing work to be performed and business locations of each subcontractor who will perform work exceeding 1/2 of 1 percent of the total bid, is required. The successful bidder must provide Performance, Maintenance, and Payment bonds in the full contract amount. All bonds must be issued by an admitted surety insurer, meeting specified legal requirements. All bids are subject to the terms, conditions, and penalties of the relevant Public Contract Code sections.
