The project is for the Student Center Window Replacement at Rend Lake College in Jefferson County, Illinois. Bids are to be submitted in a single lump sum proposal. Proposal forms and contract documents, including plans and specifications, are available at the office of the Rend Lake College Physical Plant Department and Eggemeyer Associates Architects, Inc. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to Rend Lake College, or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid is required with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum. Successful bidders must comply with all applicable laws and prevailing wage rates. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid responsive to the conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without consent.
