REEF POINT REVITALIZATION PHASE 1 - DOCK ELECTRICAL. No scope of work details or instructions to bidders are provided. Racine County is accepting bids for the installation of an electrical system for floating dockage for Phase 1 of the Revitalization Project of the Racine Reef Point Marina located at 2 Christopher Columbus Causeway, Racine, WI 53403. The electrical system is typical for a marina including substations, panels, and shore power pedestals. The floating docks will be installed under a separate contract, along with other utility systems. The dock installation contractor will be required to coordinate and provide a minimum notification to the electrical contractor for when the docks will be ready to be sleeved with conduit. A new Fuel Dock Building will be installed by the dock installation contractor. The electrical system, equipment, conduit, and associated material within the building's footprint is the responsibility of the dock installation contractor. The dock installation contractor will be required to coordinate with the electrical contractor as the electrical contractor will have to provide a feed to that building. The dock installation contractor is responsible for coordinating the location of feeds into and out of the building. Phase 1 includes Docks V, U, T, X, N, and O. Note Dock Y will be installed in a future Phase, but the electrical contractor is still required to install the conduit in the marginal dock that will feed the future Dock Y substation. This Bid Solicitation is Phase 1 of a planned four phase project. The Phase 1 Contractor will be provided with the opportunity to bid on future phases of the contract. It is the intention of the County to award the same Contractor additional phases to maintain a consistent end product and consistent means and methods.
