Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves the construction of a tennis and pickleball complex consisting of three tennis courts, four pickleball courts, parking, and related items, including material, tools, labor, and related items. Bidders must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary for the proposed work. Bidders are required to inspect the site and inform themselves of all local conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, or an acceptable bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract and furnish bonds on the forms provided. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas and satisfactory to the owner. The time of completion is 120 calendar days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. Bidders are expected to comply with all instructions and are cautioned that qualified bids may be subject to rejection. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder(s) who, in the owner's opinion, offers the proposal to the best interest of the project. Any proposed subcontractors must be acceptable to the owner. Any person contemplating the submission of a Bid shall have thoroughly examined all of the various parts of these Documents, and should there be any doubt as to the meaning or intent of said Contract Documents, the Bidder should request of the Engineer, in writing (received by the Engineer at least 5 working days prior to bid opening) and interpretation thereof.
