Question Deadline 11/10/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted only through the City of Topekas e-Procurement System at least 10 calendar days prior to the opening of Bids. All questions and answers will be posted to the Bid Event. The project is located northwest of the intersection of 41st and Wanamaker, primarily along Stonybrook Drive. It includes the replacement of approximately 560 linear feet of 2-inch, 4,000 linear feet of 6-inch, and 2,200 linear feet of 8-inch waterline by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and/or conventional excavation and backfill. The project also includes the replacement of a 12-inch waterline crossing 41st Street on the south end of the project. Additional work includes the replacement of water services, valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. Bidders must provide a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security must be provided to the office of Contracts and Procurement before the closing date. Project drawings and project manual may be obtained for a fee, and electronic copies are available through the Topeka e-Procurement system. A pre-bid conference will be held, with attendance optional but highly encouraged for bidders to understand the expectations and details involved in the project and contract.
