Euless Aquatic Park and Natatorium Renovations . Outdoor Pool (Aquatic Park) Approximately 18,000 sf. Plaster Re-Surfacing Specification: Contractor is responsible for: o Draining pool. *Monitor hydrostatic line during entire project. o Prepare all surfaces and protect surrounding area. o Remove all ladders and handrails. o Remove slide termination caps and repair pool wall behind two large slides and replace after repairs are completed. o Remove (full strip), haul away, dispose existing plaster. (depth to be discussed at Pre- bid meeting) Dumpster provided by contractor. o Remove and replace 25 existing pool lights (Pentair 120v - 500w fixtures) with the low voltage LED equivalents (Pentair Intellibrite 5G 12v - 55w fixtures w/ transformers). (Alternate Bid - Owner to approve equivalent) o Sound pool for existing hollows and remove any hollow areas that are found. o Inject structural joints. Remove old/existing joints, and replace with new material. o White Quartz with Blue stone and micro glass additive. (Owner to approve color mix) o Apply Bond Coat o Tiling the tops of 4 steps. All of the top steps extend above the water line. Plaster products are designed to be below the waterline. It will be a non-skid tile and match the existing tiles. o Refill, balance, and complete initial brushing of all surfaces. o Facility Security - End of Day, facility will be confirmed as locked and secured. o Facility blueprints/layout attached (please call (817) 685-1654 for a PDF version) Cool Decking Specifications: Approximately 4,200 sf of surface area. Contractor is responsible for: o Removal and disposal of existing. Dumpster provided by contractor. Grind down to concrete. o Removal any loose concrete around coping. o Repair all existing cracks in deck. o Prep surrounding area. o Application of two coats of cool deck material. *Customer to pick the color of product. o Apply sealant. o Removal and replacement of approximately 1,125 lf of deck joints. o Reshaping/repair any existing coping that is damaged. o Cleaning and removal of all project debris. Indoor Pool (Natatorium) Approximately 3,000 sf. Plaster Re-Surfacing Specifications: Contractor is responsible for: o Draining pool. *Monitor hydrostatic line during entire project. o Removal (full strip), haul away, disposal existing plaster. Dumpster provided by contractor. o Surface and surrounding area prep. o Quartzscapes Light Plaster with additive (micro glass). o Apply Bond Coat. o -Saw cut waterline tile. Replace approximately 96 lf of toe tile. o Replace wall steps. o Refill, balance, and complete initial brushing of all surfaces. o Facility Security - End of Day, facility will be confirmed as locked and secured. o Facility blueprints/layout attached.
