Separate sealed bids for the construction of a water treatment plant rehabilitation in Smith County in Taylorsville, MS, will be received by the Owner. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be furnished by each bidder as required by the contract documents. Minority and womens business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. The procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, in accordance with MCWI Program Regulations, and the following Uniform Guidance provisions will be required in all contracts: Subpart A (Acronyms and Definitions), Subpart B (General Provisions), Subpart C (Pre-Federal Award Requirements and Contents of Federal Awards, except certain exceptions), Subpart D (Post Federal Award Requirements, with certain exceptions), Subpart E (Cost Principles), Subpart F (Audit Requirements), 2 CFR Part 25, 2 CFR Part 170, 2 CFR Part 180, and 2 CFR 200 Appendix ii.
