Question deadline: 12/01/2025 Scope of work to include, all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the renovation of approximately 8,000 sf on the third floor of the Upstate Downtown Campus to create a new class 2 interventional radiology procedure room, pre- and post-procedure patient care area, waiting room, a diagnostic ultrasound with patient toilet, patient holding bays, a resident lounge, offices, and other staff support spaces under Article 28 with the NYS Department of Health. This work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, general construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC controls, and plumbing work, sprinklers, and coordination with new imaging equipment which will be supplied by others. In addition, this project will be replacing approximately 2,000 sf of roof. There will also be associated MEP work in the sub-basement, second floor to serve the third-floor renovations and a new roof top AHU. This will be a multi-phased project as shown in the documents. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 540 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 18% MBE and 12% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.
