Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to: mobilize to the site; disconnect existing motor wiring; remove existing pumps, motors, and non-required piping; provide and install new 4" epoxy-coated ductile iron piping; connect to existing piping; install new valving and modify pump supports as required to align with existing piping centerlines; install new 4" check valves and plug valves; install new pumps and perform necessary support alterations; complete electrical terminations at new motors; provide and oversee bypass pumping operations (with Public Works assistance); and perform startup and commissioning services. The motor and pump specifications require two 4" vertical, dry-installed, submersible sewage units with specific features and performance standards (or equal to or greater than those listed). Bids must be submitted on the official bid sheet, marked accordingly, and delivered in a sealed envelope to City Hall. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or accept the bid deemed most advantageous.
