SNOW PLOWING OF BOTH FIRE HOUSE STATIONS Station #1 located at 564 Main Street, St. Remy, NY Station #2 located at 252 Union Center Road, Ulster Park, NY Any accumulation of snow is to be plowed from the parking areas of both stations. Station #1 specifics: This is to include the driveway adjacent to Station #1. Do not block the right corner of the front of Station 1 for drainage purposes and for the accessibility to the fuel tanks. Also to include the removal of ice. Station #2 specifics: Station #2 must be plowed beyond the rear of the building on both sides back over the edge of the bank towards the tree line. Need to be cautious of the well head at the rear of the building. One pass is needed around the back of the building and must be kept open after all snowfall. All standpipes must also be cleared. These include standpipes at the following locations: Name Stand Pipe Location 1 Diamond Pond Pond at corner of Rte 213 and New Salem Road 2 Krom's Pond Pond about A 1/2 mile in on Van Wagner Road on the right. 3 Old Town Barn Stream near Maple Ridge and 325 Union Center Road. 4 Rizzo's Pond near 284 Union Center Road 5 Staccio's Pond along Staccio's driveway located directly across William White Road. Heavy accumulations may require plowing more than one time, to keep areas clear of snow and ice. All snow must be removed from in front of the engine room and entrance doors. All plowing will also include the removal of ice with sand/salt in front of all engine bays to the road at both stations as well as each station's main entrance. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This contract will become effective immediately upon acceptance of a bid and will be for a term of one year.
