The Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY) is soliciting the services of a single prime contractor for this project. The work associated with this contract is part of a long-term campus consolidation plan that involves the renovations and space conditioning of Building 7 located at the South Beach Psychiatric Center Campus, Staten Island. The scope of work for Building 7 will include asbestos abatement, interior demolition, removal and replacement of existing windows and storefront, masonry repairs, interior construction, new interior finishes, finish carpentry, built-in casework, selective plumbing demolition, installation of new plumbing fixtures, domestic water piping distribution, complete bathroom and toilet room updates, fire protection system improvements, HVAC instrumentation and controls, electrical service and distribution, interior lighting, electrical connections to equipment, communication, security as well as fire alarm system improvements.
