Reference Number 0000402747 Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 12/05/2025 02:00 PM EST ITP invites proposals from qualified firms to provide fencing for the Amtrak parking lot in accordance with the requirements provided in Section 2: Scope of Work. ITP is looking to install an ornamental fence that is four (4) feet high along the north and west side of the existing parking lot. The fence is to be a black powder-coated aluminum alloy extruded 3-rail fence. Contractor will need to match existing fencing design located at the Amtrak station by the train platform (see section 2.3 - photos attached). Rapid Central Station (RCS) is a transit hub and serves as a major transfer point between multiple bus routes. The Amtrak parking area, which is not currently fenced, will require removal of existing fencing and installation of new perimeter fencing at the Amtrak parking lot. The fence will have lengths approximately 119 feet, 48 feet, and 216 feet sections. (See section 2.3 attached photos, site plan, and specifications) Contractor is responsible for site cleanup including waste disposal after the installation of the new perimeter security fence. Removal of existing fencing will be carried out to save the existing fencing and that fencing will be turned over to the ITP facilities department. Removal of six Amtrak Employee Parking posts and turn over to the ITP facilities department. Contractor will be responsible for storage and security of all materials and equipment at the work site. Fencing posts to be secured 3 feet into the ground with concrete. All correspondence to the Procurement Lead must be done in writing (e-mail is preferred).
