Renovation of a theater / auditorium in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade theater / auditorium.

A. The Work of this Section shall include, but not be limited to, installation of hydraulic cement-based self-leveling underlayment (SLU) on slabs to place finish material. Prepare substrate to receive the SLU and install as per this Section and per manufacturers recommendations. B. Provide on all slabs to provide a uniform surface to receive finish. C. Moisture content of the concrete slabs shall be checked and documented in writing by the Contractor to ensure the moisture content is acceptable for all materials to be placed on the slab (SLU, finish flooring). 1. Slabs shall be tested utilizing the calcium chloride moisture test and, if required by the floor finish manufacturer or SLU manufacturer, using in-situ test probe method for relative humidity or non-destructive moisture testing for surface moisture content using non-destructive Electronic Moisture.
