The City of Mountlake Terrace solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in construction management to assist with project management, contract administration, inspection, documentation, and coordination of the federally funded Transit Connection Corridor – Pedestrian Plaza project. The project involves construction of a landscaped and hardscaped pedestrian plaza of approximately 4,200 square feet. Primary elements of construction include site grading, structural walls, storm drainage, lighting, pedestrian seating, decorative concrete paving, landscape, and irrigation. The project site is located at the southwest corner of 236th ST SW and Van Ry Boulevard, in Mountlake Terrace. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on expertise and qualifications of the project manager and key personnel, related experience and success with similar projects, consultant’s approach to scope of work or methodology, familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards and funding requirements, and responsiveness and clarity of submittal.
