Renovation of a laboratory facility in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Work includes demolition and construction to the lighting electrical system as required for replacement of the light fixtures in seventeen (17) of the twenty (20) Greenhouses at Boyce Thompson Institute (BTI). The replacement lighting fixtures aim to match the fixtures at the remaining three (3) Greenhouses. The existing installations in three (3) Greenhouses will have the panel enclosures updated to the proper rating. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (bid bond or certified check) in the amount of 10% of total bid. Bidders may preview and purchase plans and specifications from a secure website for a non-refundable fee. Certification status for Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses will be verified in the New York State Contract System. Work shall be completed within four hundred sixty (460) calendar days after Owner's written Notice to Proceed.
