Renovation of a municipal facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,620-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following 1. Requirements for minimum indoor air quality (IAQ) performance standards during the construction period and before occupancy. 2. With regard to these goals the Contractor shall develop, for Owner and Architect review, a Construction Indoor Air Quality Management Plan for this Project. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. The Project consists of but not limited to Renovation of a first floor space into 5 retail units with a recessed exterior porch. Building is mixed-use with occupied residential above. GC's MUST BE PREQUALIFIED TO BID. Filed Sub-Bidders do not need to be prequalified. To ensure accurate accounting and documentation, the Awarding Authority will administer the construction using BidDocs' construction software. This is a contractual requirement; no alternative software will be accepted. The Awarding Authority will pay for the associated software costs, not the Contractor. Project No. 2508 All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 01/23/2026 at 5:00PM EST for filed sub-bids and by 02/06/2026 at 5:00PM EST for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the CAMBRIDGE REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. Sub trade: Glass and Glazing Lathing and Plastering Tile Resilient Flooring Painting Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems Plumbing Heating / Ventilating / Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Electrical Work The system requires that the General Bidder to explicitly acknowledge yes or no regarding the requirement of the Performance and Payment Bonds on filed sub-bid contractors on the Form for General Bid.
