Renovation of an educational facility in Orem, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

This project consists of the removal of the existing safety railing and installation of new safety and hand railings in the atrium at the Pope Science building. The base bid shall include all work and materials associated with this project as outlined in the plans and specifications. This project has a construction window during the Campus Summer Break. May 10, 2026, through August 17, 2026. Stage II Invitation to Bid Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project. A mandatory meeting will be held at the specified location and time; all prime contractors wishing to bid must attend and sign in, otherwise they will be ineligible. During this meeting, the overall scope of work and intended project schedule will be presented, and contractors may ask questions and request clarification. All project-related requests for information, clarifications, and questions must be submitted to DFCM via the U3P website by the specified deadline. Addenda issued in response to questions will become part of the solicitation and must be incorporated into the contractor's proposal and/or bid. Any interpretation of contract documents will be made only by addenda posted on the U3P website. Approval for alternative products or materials must be obtained in writing from the architect or engineer prior to the designated deadline if contract requirements are referenced descriptively or are restrictive.
