The Town Council requests proposals from qualified professionals to operate, maintain, and develop new revenue sources at Pierson Municipal Airport under an operating and ground lease agreement or other arrangement. The selected respondent will be expected to: oversee operations and maintenance of the airport consistent with industry practices and regulations; conduct regular airport inspections; mow grassy areas; remove foreign object debris; maintain airport property and facilities; issue Notices to Airmen and Temporary Flight Restrictions; enforce applicable rules and standards; serve as liaison with federal, state, and local stakeholders; attend relevant meetings; pay all utility and trash removal charges; oversee and enforce tenant compliance; attract tenants and users; enforce tenant obligations regarding building and equipment maintenance; develop an airport master plan and feasible capital improvement plan for Town Council approval; ensure all development aligns with an FAA approved Airport Layout Plan; oversee and manage airport development. Proposals must include documentation of qualifications, history and experience, organizational information, references, and an approach for delivering services. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, and may waive irregularities or negotiate contract terms as deemed in its best interest. Insurance requirements as specified must be met before work begins.
