Its primary role in this respect is to support 14 childcare centers located in every community. More specifically in terms of support, the KRG Childcare Section regularly delivers technical assistance to the parent board of directors and staff of childcare centers in a variety of fields, including financial management, building management, insurance, learning activities, nutrition, health, hygiene, board activities, laws and regulations, staff management, and policies. Having to oversee 19 facilities building, over the last 10 years, KRG Childcare Section have encountered multiples oil spills that contaminated the sites of some of these facilities, therefore the KRG is seeking proposals from qualified environmental experts to ensure a rapid and effective response in the event of diesel spills, primarily from fuel tanks or barrels. The objective is to minimize environmental and human health impacts by implementing corrective measures in compliance with current Quebec regulations. The KRG aims to establish a contract for a duration of three (3) years, ensuring the rapid mobilization of expertise and equipment necessary for effective emergency management and remediation measures.
