Site work for a power facility in Peterborough, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a power facility.

The Durham Kawartha Power Line is a proposed new double-circuit 230 kilovolt transmission line between the Clarington Transformer Station in the Municipality of Clarington and the Dobbin Transformer Station in Peterborough County (50 +/- kms). In service by 2029. TIMELINE: Draft environmental study report (ESR) is in the public comment period. The ESR will be finalized to complete the Class EA by the end of 2025. Detailed design will be completed in 2026. Construction is proposed to commence in 2027 & be in service by 2029 or sooner.
