Renovation of a multi-residential development in Hoboken, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
The scope of work includes storm door replacement and concrete repairs at Fox Hill Gardens for the Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken. Bidders are to submit sealed bids as outlined in the bid materials. Each bid must be submitted on the forms provided and completed as designated. Unauthorized conditions or alterations to the bid forms are grounds for rejection. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company or a certified check, in the amounts specified in the bid materials. A Consent of Surety from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company must also accompany the bid. Security amounts required are: up to $200,000 10% of Bid; $200,000 to $400,000 $20,000; over $400,000 5% of Bid. Once submitted, no bid may be withdrawn for 60 days without the Owner's consent. Compliance with Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements, the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and business registration provisions is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or technicalities, and make awards in part or whole as deemed in its best interest. Performance and Maintenance Bonds from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company are required of the successful bidder.
