Reference Number 0000402942 Hays County, Texas ("County") is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to develop a pool of land surveying firms from which to choose to provide professional surveying services on an as-needed basis. As individual projects requiring land surveying services are developed, Hays County Department Directors or Elected Officials, or the Commissioners Court, will choose from this pool of pre-qualified land surveying firms. The chosen firm will then negotiate a professional services agreement with Hays County to perform the required duties, which must be accepted and approved via Commissioners Court. Land Surveying services could include federally funded, state funded and locally funded projects. The County intends to use this RFQ process to assist the County in efficiently selecting qualified professionals. Any entity may submit a response to this RFQ provided it is qualified to perform the scope of services described herein. Be advised, the creation of a pool with a final "pre-qualification" list shall not be deemed as creating any type of contractual expectancy for the award of any contracts on the part of the County.
