Resurfacing and repainting of gymnasium floors at Beaver High School and Belknap Elementary School. Work includes: labor, materials, equipment, and related services necessary to strip both gym floors, prep and restore the floors, remove all finish and paint from remaining wood, seal wood, repaint lines to match the design provided by the principal, and refinish the entire floor with an approved wood floor finish compatible with Bona Supercourt or equivalent. Contractor must provide a color palette for line color selections, submit requests for additional manufacturer approvals, apply a seal coat and two finish coats following product recommendations, and ensure all work is in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer recommendations. Game lines must comply with sport association requirements and be approved by the school principal. The contractor is responsible for all clean-up, disposal, walls cleaning, and ensuring perimeter trim remains in place. Prices must include all shipping costs, and bidders may submit multiple bids for different types of sealant, paint, or finish. Work start and completion dates are specified. As a technical requirement, all interested parties are required to call and set up an appointment with Beaver County School District at (435) 438-2291 and ask for Russell Carter, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday for a site visit to get their own measurements.
