Fort Bragg Municipal Improvement District No. 1 Dryer Building Reconstruction Project The project is for the replacement of the metal structure that currently houses the biosolids dryer at the Fort Bragg Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new building will be approximately 24' x 40' and constructed in the same footprint as the existing building with similar features, including two new rolling service doors. Work includes demolition and disposal of the existing metal building, foundation repairs, and construction of a new wood frame structure with cement fiber siding and a membrane roof. The contractor must protect existing equipment and power systems in place and incorporate them into the new building as per plan. Work must be completed within 45 days from the start date. Bidders must ensure submittals are complete according to Instructions to Bidders Paragraph 2.03 in the full bid package. A California Class B contractor's license is required, and all bidders and subcontractors must be currently registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the project.
