Renovation of a multi-residential development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

Long Acre Exterior Staircase - Remove and reinstall rear exterior staircases The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Stairway Replacement at Long Acre Rd IRA located at 198 Long Acre Rd, Rochester, NY 14621. Contractors must attend a mandatory site visit to verify knowledge of the area for which service is being requested prior to bid submission. Bids will not be accepted before the site visit or from vendors that do not attend. Late arrivals to the site visit may be disqualified from bidding. This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid. When submitting a bid for Article 8 public work contracts, bidders must provide their NYSDOL registration number in the designated space on the bid form and submit their Certificate of Registration. Failure to provide a valid and verifiable registration number and Certificate of Registration at the time of bid submission will result in bid disqualification. To request an invitation for bid, reference the location and project title on company letterhead, including a current email address and/or fax number. Bids should be submitted via fax or email as specified. It is not required that intent to attend the site visit be communicated ahead of time. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Exterior Staircase Reconstruction, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the project manager. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. It is the Installing contractors' responsibility to contact 811, and have all underground utilities marked in advance of any excavation work conducted on-site prior to the project commencing. 2. NYSOPWDD - Finger Lakes DDSO is a state government agency which is self-permitting, and local zoning jurisdiction is not applicable. This project will be permitted. 3. Follow the design provided. Work not in compliance with the design will be redone. 4. The locations of the dumpster and job trailer will be approved by the house director and will not impede egress 5. Shop drawings will be approved before any demolition occurs 6. Continuity of work: The job will be worked on every workday continuously from demolition to completion. Have your materials in stock before demolition. 7. Coordinate with the project manager to have the air conditioning condenser moved 8. All footings will be inspected and approved by the project manager before cement installation. Do not pour the cement until the inspection has occurred 9. Hot work: A hot work permit must be secured by the project manager before any hot work commences 10. Before scaffolding is removed the final inspection will be scheduled and completed. Final Date for Receipt of Questions: November 17, 2025 - Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit.
