The proposed project includes a summer project of approximately 14,000 square feet of interior renovations of offices, classrooms, and toilet rooms, building fire alarm upgrade, complete tuck pointing of exterior masonry, exterior window replacement, exterior door replacement, and roof replacement. Prospective bidders should contact Kirstie Greatsinger at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and to gain access to Smart Bid for downloading the bid documents. Lamp Incorporated will use Smart Bid for the entire bidding process, including addenda. All contractors wishing to bid must have a Lamp Incorporated Contractor’s Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last twelve months. The Contractor’s Qualification Statement is due in the Lamp Incorporated office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2025, and is also available on SmartBid and the company’s website. A Bid Bond or Certified Check for 10% of the bid amount must accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. Payment of prevailing wages is required. This project is tax exempt. The Board of Education of Batavia Public School District 101 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. Bidders are urged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting to fully understand the project requirements. Bidders failing to demonstrate understanding of the project and existing conditions during scope review may be rejected.
