**As of December 11, 2025, project was cancelled. No definite plans for rebid.** The project is for General Contractor services for the Stamford Campus - School of Nursing Suite project. Bidders must submit their bids through the HuskyBuy Portal. All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via the Q&A Board Tab in HuskyBuy. No phone calls or directly emailed questions to the Procurement Agent will be accepted. Bidders are responsible for promptly notifying the University of any ambiguities, inconsistencies, or errors in the contract documents. Interpretations, addenda, clarifications, and any supplemental instructions will only be issued through the HuskyBuy event. Bidders must request access to the virtual bid opening prior to the due date. Cost proposals, including prices for any alternates, will be read at the public bid opening. The University will select the lowest responsible bidder based on the total bid amount plus any selected alternates. The University reserves the right to implement all, some, or none of the alternates. Only prequalified contractors listed in the invitation may submit bids. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 per calendar day if substantial completion is not achieved within the contracted time. Prevailing wage rates apply if the total cost exceeds $100,000, in compliance with Connecticut General Statutes 31-53, 31-54, and 31-55.
