The project consists of the repaving of approximately 6,600 linear feet of full-depth reclamation with asphalt overlay. Additional work includes the installation of approximately 1,680 linear feet of 24-inch HP storm drain pipe, drainage improvements, signage and striping, grading, culvert replacement, and associated appurtenances. Bidders are expected to inspect the work site and inform themselves about the conditions under which the work is to be done. Bidders must register as vendors with the City's eProcurement system to participate. All questions should be submitted through the eProcurement system. Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) from a reliable Surety Company as a guarantee to enter into a contract and execute the bonds and guarantee forms within ten days after notice of award. The successful bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, from an approved Surety Company with a permit from the State of Texas, or other acceptable Surety. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Bidders should be aware of prevailing wage rates for Collin County.
