Bloomington Fleet Repair Facility - Casework Question Deadline 11/25/2025 at 5:00 PM CT CONTRACT WORK SCOPES/DESCRIPTIONS Supply: Contractor is to furnish the specified item(s) for installation by others. All applicable freight charges, marking, protection, and delivery to the jobsite are the responsibilities ofthe "Supply Only" Contractor. The contractor is to provide 48-hour advance notice on shipments to the jobsite. If 48-hour advance notice is not given, shipment may be refused by the Construction ManagerInstall: Contractor is to accept delivery, unload, store, protect, sort, distribute and install materials/items supplied by others as per the specifications and plans. All mounting hardware, not part ofthe "Supply Only" specifications, is to be furnished by the installation contractorProvide: Contractor is responsible for the supply and installation ofspecified materials/items, including delivery, unloading, and storage at the jobsite. Allowance: Additional money included in the contractor's bid as defined in the individual contract work scope descriptions to be used as directed by the Owner & Construction Manager. Allowances are for work above and beyond what is shown on the drawings or clarified in the specifications. Contractors must receive approval from the Owner & Construction Manager prior to using allowance time and/or money. Allowance hours, materials, and equipment will be tracked by the Construction Manager through the site superintendents by verifying time tickets and material receipts. It is the responsibility ofthe contractor to submit work tickets for verification and signature by the Superintendent; no allowance payments will be authorized without work tickets signed by the construction superintendents. No additional overhead/profit will be allowed on allowance work. Site supervision, office administration, etc. will be part ofthe base bid and cannot be applied to the allowance. Any unused allowances will be returned to the Owner in a deductive change order
