Sealed bid proposals are requested for the purchase of construction services for pavement repair and drainage improvements in Copper Canyon, Texas. The project consists of miscellaneous pavement repairs and drainage improvements, administered by work orders as needed. The contract term is one year, with an option for annual renewal for up to four years. Both the contractor and the Town may request renegotiated unit prices and/or quantities for renewals, which require agreement by both parties. Estimated total work orders during the one-year term are anticipated to be between $25,000 and $90,000, but the Town reserves the right to issue work orders totaling more or less. Individual work orders will not usually be for less than $3,000, except as may be specified in Special Conditions. Quantities shown are illustrative; actual quantities may vary. Bid instructions include: - Bids must be submitted using the forms included in the specifications. - Bids shall not be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within sixty calendar days after the opening date. - Bidders must register with CIVCAST to obtain bid documents and specifications. - Each bid must include a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond of not less than five percent of the total bid as a guarantee to enter into a contract and provide an insurance certificate within ten days of notification of award. - No officer or employee of the Town may have any financial interest in the contract. - The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and informalities. Unless all bids are rejected, the award will go to the lowest and most responsible bidder.
