Description of the Work A. Installation of a 100,000 gallon ground storage tank, approximately 285 LF of 8 inch water line pipe and related appurtenances in the same yard area. If optional bid item is selected, replacement of existing pipeline connections to existing below grade clearwell. All work to be completed is located within Owner property east of 404 E 1st St on lots 4, 5 and 6 of block 50 on E 1st St, Beggs OK 74421. Offerors must submit an acceptable Bid Security with their Bids as a guarantee that the Successful Offeror will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner within 15 days of Notice of Award of the Contract. The Bid Security must be payable to the City of Beggs in the amount of 5 percent of the proposed Contract Price. The Successful Offeror must execute the Contract and bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and provide evidence of insurance as required by the Contract Documents. A statutory defect bond, performance bond, and payment bond will be required for this Project. The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation no later than 330 days after Notice to Proceed. The Project is to be complete and eligible for final payment 30 days after the date for Substantial Completion. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 5:00 PM CT. The Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, to reject any or all Bids, and/or waive formalities.
