Please refer to the bid tabulation for detailed results Furnishing and Paying for All Materials, Labor, Transportation, Tools, Equipment, Machinery and Services Necessary to Construct in Place Complete: Gccs Improvements for the Vertical Expansion of the Kekaha Landfill Phase Ii for the Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division, County of Kauai. Question Deadline 11/28/2025 Any questions regarding the solicitation shall require submission of a question via PPS for clarification no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening, unless otherwise noted pursuant to the requirements of the solicitation. A. General: The Work included in the contract consists of construction of improvements to the landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS). The Work is more fully detailed in the Construction Drawings and Specifications included herein. B. Principal features include: 1. Mobilization and demobilization of equipment, labor, and construction of temporary facilities. 2. Installation of GCCS components, which include but are not limited to the following: a. Vertical Landfill Gas Extraction Wells and Wellheads b. Horizontal Landfill Gas Extraction Wellheads c. High density polyethylene (HDPE) landfill gas header and lateral piping d. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) landfill gas header and lateral piping e. Road crossings f. Miscellaneous fittings g. Valves 3. Welding of HDPE pipe. 4. Drilling in the waste footprint. 5. Trenching and backfilling both in the waste footprint. Bidders are further notified of the requirements of Act 190, SLH 2011, SB 758, wherein the County of Kaua'i is required to utilize the Hawai'i Compliance Express (HCE) to obtain proof of compliance with tax, registration, and labor requirements prior to the issuance of an award. The Director of Finance reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bid or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part if deemed to be in the best interest of the County All prospective bidders shall have a Hawai'i State Contractor's License Type "A" This is a County Project funded by the County of Kaua'i.
