Site work for a communication facility in Albany, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
**As of December 08, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Work involves performing corrective actions on partial circuits out of substation #5 and #9, including replacing seventy (70) faulty or rotten wood power poles with new wood poles and associated electric powerline equipment/hardware on the 12KV electrical distribution line. Sealed bids will be received for the lump sum of all specified work, to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A 5% bid bond is required from all bidders for consideration. 100% performance and payment bonds are required from the successful bidder. Corporations should provide a corporate seal, a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, and a list of corporate principals with their bid. The City encourages small business participation and reserves the right to reject or waive informalities in the bidding process. Bid documents are available online and at the Procurement Division.
