Construction of a floating platform with a mix of areas for seating and lounging and swimming, diving platforms, 50-metre swim lanes, and a shallow leisure pool. The deck will include: Generous, protected swimming areas; An accessible shallow pool; 50-metre swim lanes; Diving platforms; Lounging and seating area; Accommodates up to 400 people. Site: Burrard Inlet along the shoreline of Waterfront Park. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. The project is at the feasibility and concept stage. Pending public consultations, approvals, design and construction, the project could open to the public in 2027. Further update in early 2026.
