Reference Number 0000403086 Question Deadline 11/19/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No Fairfield County School District (FCSD) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the removal, disposal of the existing scoreboard, as well as the installation of a new outdoor scoreboard system. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Location: Fairfield Central High School Football Stadium, 836 US Hwy 321 Bypass S Winnsboro, SC 29180. Objective: Demo and replacement of the existing scoreboard and sound system with a new, fully integrated digital video scoreboard and stadium sound system. Completion Timeline: All installations must be turn-key, including removal and disposal of current scoreboard and sound system. The work may include but is not limited to the preparation of the site and all conditions to accept the new scoreboard; and the inclusion of all control consoles and no annual fee software necessary for the scoreboard to function properly. Additionally, a new scoreboard shall be installed, wired, tested, and running prior to District acceptance of the work. The projects must be completed within 90 days of purchase order issuance unless otherwise approved. The vendor shall provide all design, labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to furnish and install a complete turnkey system. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: A. Site Assessment Conduct a site visit to evaluate existing scoreboard structure, electrical service, and data connections. Verify the adequacy of structures supports, electrical capacity, and grounding. Provide design recommendations based on field conditions and viewing distances. B. Removal and Disposal Safely remove and dispose of the existing scoreboard and sound components in accordance with local regulations. C. Scoreboard Installation Provide a full-color outdoor video scoreboard designed for stadium use at Fairfield Central High School. The approximate display area shall be 10-14 feet in height and 32-48 feet in width, sized appropriately for field viewing distances and visibility from home and visitor stands. Vendors may recommend an alternate display size based on findings from their site visit, if they believe it would offer greater overall value, functionality, or viewing performance for the District. The scoreboard must support real-time scoring, video playback, and graphic content, and be rated for outdoor, all-weather use. Vendors are expected to evaluate the site and verify final sizing, placement, and viewing angles prior to fabrication and installation. All materials and workmanship shall conform to industry standards, including, but not limited to any and all Federal, State, and local safety standards and building codes (i.e. OSHA, ANSI, UL, NEC, FCC, etc. for high school stadium video boards in terms of brightness, visibility, and durability.
