A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** New York State DOCCS Hale Creek Correctional Facility is seeking candidates that can perform and supply the following work: Contractor will furnish all permits, labor, material, equipment, apparatus, tools, transportation, and services necessary for and incidental to, the proper installation and completion of a replacement battery bank and charging system. This work includes removal and disposal of existing lead acid batteries, wiring, and any components deemed no longer necessary, functional, or compatible. Contractor will provide 60 VM-2 lead acid batteries, battery containment, battery rack, and a compatible ATevo charging system. Contractor shall provide a temporary battery bank during installation of the new system to maintain protection. Contractor must use workers who are trained, experienced, and have appropriate electrical qualifications and skills to complete the project. Contractor is responsible for ensuring compatibility of all parts and equipment and must perform testing and ensure operation of all equipment prior to project completion. Work is to be performed Monday through Friday between 7:30am and 3:00pm. Alternate times may be accommodated with advance notice at the facilitys discretion. Winning bidder will be required to attend a pre-work meeting with facility management and security to coordinate before work begins.
