Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Cassville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Question Deadline 11/27/2025 Submit completed Contractor Questionnaire and/or Contractor Prequalification Questionnaire with attachments not later than seven (7) days prior to the date and hour of the bid opening. The work includes construction of a 100-foot, two-span precast slab beam bridge, approach roadway work, and any incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bidders must purchase plans through Great River Engineering and be on the planholder list to bid. The contract requires payment of the prevailing hourly wage rate for each type of work as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, with adherence to the higher of the state or federal wage rates. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List and must have their contractor questionnaire on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors are required to provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program (or an approved similar program) for on-site employees within 60 days of starting work. A 5% certified cashier's check or bid bond must accompany each proposal. No second-tier subcontracting is allowed. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Barry County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
