The City of Peekskill ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide window replacement services. The project will be funded through the Downtown Revitalization Fund (DRF), administered through the City of Peekskill and the NYS Office of Housing and Community Renewal (HCR), as part of Peekskill's Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). The grant program provides reimbursable grant funding to businesses and property owners within the DRI target area to make capital improvements. Refer to Exhibit A for more project information. The following scope of work outlines the requirements for the above-referenced site: Provide labor and materials for the following window replacement services: o Remove the old aluminum double-pane clear glass windows o Replace with Black Anderson 400 Series ENERGY STAR windows: o Double or triple panes of glass with inert gases such as argon between them to vastly improve the ability to insulate against unwanted heat flow into or out of the building, depending on time of year. o Special coatings to create low emissivity ("low-E") glass. Such low-E glass reflects heat energy either into or out of the house, further enhancing insulation. It also reflects ultraviolet (UV) light away from the house and can protect your household furnishings from UV-induced fading by as much as 75%. o Window frame materials designed to improve the window's insulating abilities. o ENERGY STAR qualified windows meet strict performance standards established o Repair any interior Sheetrock damage due to installation Please submit any questions about this RFP by November 03, 2025, to the City's DRF Consultant, Abi Oridedi, at abi@theruki.com.
