Renovation of a communication facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade communication facility.
Project Location - 601-615 Keetoowah St. Tahlequah, OK 74464 This project shall consist of Installing various 15kV and 69kV equipment to allow for substation expansion, new equipment includes: 69kV MCOV Surge Arrestors (6ea), 69kV CCVTs (3ea), 69kV Group Operated V-Break Switches (5ea), 69kV Circuit Breaker (1ea), 28MVA Transformer with LTC (1ea), Oil Containment (1ea), 15kV Group Operated V-Break Switches (1ea), 15kV Hook Operated Switches (9ea), 15kV Circuit Breaker (1ea), 50kVA SSVT (1ea), 15kV Bypass Hook Switches (3ea), Associated Foundations/Steel Structures, Expand Ground Grid, Cable Trench/Pull Boxes, Conduit, Grounding, and Cable. Contractor shall provide all materials except those materials specifically listed as to be furnished by GRDA. Contractor shall provide all installation and construction services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the proper completion of all work shown on the drawings and herein specified, excepting only such items as are specified or noted as being done or furnished by others. All construction shall be performed in strict accordance with these specifications and the attached applicable drawings and shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. See the attachments for a complete listing of the drawings. All Electrical connections are to be made with DMC Power Swage fittings unless specified in the drawings. Fittings provided by GRDA per BOM, all tooling to be provided by contractor. The construction shall be as indicated on the drawings and shall include, but is not limited to the following scope of work. Deadline 11/14/2025 02:00 PM CST The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is requesting bids for the Tahlequah City #1 Substation Upgrades. Bids must be submitted electronically through www.bidexpress.com. Bids received after the scheduled opening time will not be considered unless GRDA grants a waiver for good cause. There will be a mandatory job site examination and pre-bid meeting for prospective bidders, followed by a site visit. Failure to attend this meeting will disqualify a bidder. Any applicable bonding requirements will be addressed in the contract with the successful bidder. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the website for any addenda, which modify the terms of the request for proposal and will be binding.
