The work includes the improvement of the access road leading to an existing water tank located at 200 Round Bar Circle, Huntsville, AL 35763. The scope consists of the construction of approximately 600 linear feet of 10 by 6 inches of a concrete access road including minor drainage work and repairs to the existing concrete driveway. The contractor is required to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the project in a timely, safe, and professional manner. Instructions to bidders include that sealed bids must have the contractor's name and Alabama license number printed on the outside. Bidder Qualification Forms concerning capabilities to perform the work must be submitted at the bid opening. Only bids from contractors licensed in Alabama prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. A cashier's check or bid bond of at least 5% of the bid (but no more than $10,000) must accompany each bid. Performance bond, payment bond, maintenance bond, and proof of insurance are required before contract execution. The contractor must submit an Unauthorized Aliens Affidavit form. No bids may be withdrawn for 90 days after bid closing. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. The estimated date for the Notice to Proceed to be issued is February 1, 2026.
