Site work for a water / sewer project in New York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace existing Con Edison service transformers, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, underground ductbanks, wiring, motors, diesel engines, and the addition of new Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and service transformer primary side protection (switchgears). Work also includes construction of a new dedicated electrical building in compliance with applicable codes and standards to house the new medium voltage switchgear, DC battery system, and motor controllers. Construction will require a Support of Excavation (SOE) installation, Mini Pile foundation system, retaining wall construction, site regrading and drainage system upgrades. All questions and requests for additional information concerning this Request for Proposals ("RFP") must be directed to the Authorized Agency Contact Person Glorivee Roman (glroman@dep.nyc.gov), through online. The anticipated term of the contract awarded from this RFP is for 2,283 consecutive calendar days.
