IFB for Stafford County easement clearing, dam mowing, and managed turf areas with herbicide application at various county-owned locations. Service Locations: The scope of services includes maintenance at up to 150 sites, listed below. These sites range from facilities at treatment plants (Able Lake reservoir, Aquia Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Little Falls WWTP, Able Lake, Lake Mooney reservoir and Lake Mooney Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Smith Lake reservoir and Smith Lake WTP), and easements to smaller sites, such as water towers, booster pump stations, and stormwater facilities. A map of locations is located in section 2g. The department may add and/or remove facilities and sites based on the need to keep water and sewer facilities in operating condition. The water or sewer lines and their associated easements are not mapped below due to the extensive network of the location. In total, the sites collectively cover approximately 200 acres. During the term of any resulting contract, the County may obtain additional easements. The Contractor(s) shall perform the contracted services at the rates in effect at the time. 2b. The Contractor shall work with the Department to perform as-needed mowing maintenance in a controlled and aesthetically pleasing manner and/or remove vegetation within easements for the Department to locate and navigate through easements. The Contractor shall complete and document work performed. Location site address and GPS coordinates are present on the website linked on page 8 of the IFB. The Department may use the GPS data for verification of work along with visual observation for billing.
