Complete and return the attached non-collusion affidavit. 2. Indemnification and Hold Harmless Clause to Clinton County: (To be placed in your bid). The contractor(s) shall indemnify and hold harmless from or connected with the performance of their mowing duties, Clinton County, State of Indiana. The indemnification provided by this paragraph shall include all legal costs and attorney fees incurred by the County in connection with any such claim, action or proceeding. The contractor(s) hereby releases the County from all liability for any accident, damage or injury caused to person or property in connection with the duties performed by the contractor(s). 3. The snow removal contractor(s) awarded the bid are responsible for surveying the lots to be cleared for any type of debris, sinkholes, or other such potentially dangerous elements of the property that may be hidden by the snow that could cause damage to their equipment. If such debris, sinkholes or other dangerous elements exist, the contractor is to either move or plow around such obstacles.This contract will be awarded in one of two ways: (1) A contract for three years/winters of snow and ice removal (2025/2026; 2026/2027; 2027/2028), or(2) A contract for one (1) year of snow and ice removal for the winter of 2025/2026. Clinton County requests that the bid be submitted for both athree-year contract and a one-year contract, and please quote on a per-removal basis for all properties. The properties for snow and ice removal are as follows: (1) Clinton County Courthouse, Courthouse Square, Frankfort Indiana. (2) Clinton County Board of Health, 1234 Rossville Avenue, Frankfort, Indiana. (3) Probation, 259 E. Walnut St.,Frankfort, Indiana to include sidewalk and parking in front of building. (4) Purdue Extension Office, 1111 S. Jackson Street, Frankfort,Indiana. (5) Nickel Plate Flats/Employee Parking Lot, 55 N. Jackson Street, Frankfort, Indiana. (6) EMS, 1857 S. Jackson Street(Fairgrounds), Frankfort, Indiana driveway and parking lot, (7) EMS East at 177 S. State Road 29, Frankfort, Indiana. County Annex building, 2 E. Washington St. Frankfort, Indiana to include back parking lot and surrounding sidewalks. As stated above, Bidders are requested to provide a bid for both a3-year and 1-year contract based on a per-removal basis of the above listed properties.
