The City of Daytona Beach ("the City") is seeking a qualified and experienced consulting team to design a comprehensive master plan for a new public park and associated facilities at the existing Derbyshire Park site. Question and Request for Interpretation Submission Deadline: November 25, 2025, 5:00pm General The City of Daytona Beach ("the City") is seeking a qualified and experienced consulting team to design a comprehensive master plan for a new public park and associated facilities at the existing Derbyshire Park site. The new design must address both local and regional recreational needs to transform the existing site into a vibrant and accessible destination for the City's residents and visitors. It must also incorporate pertinent recommendations from the City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The selected consulting team will be responsible for leading the design process, facilitating public outreach with stakeholders and community members, attending community meetings, coordinating closely with City staff (including the Mayor and City Commission), and securing all necessary approvals. A formal presentation to the City Commission, culminating in the approval of the final Derbyshire Park Master Plan, is also required. Amenities (Minimum Requirements) Sports Facilities Tennis Courts: At least six (6) courts built to NCAA standards, serving as the home venue for Bethune-Cookman University's tennis team. Basketball Courts: Minimum of four (4) outdoor courts. Football Fields: At least two (2) fields, with three (3) preferred. Parking Facilities: Adequate parking to accommodate all users and events.
